Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about Canopy, your brand world, access, pricing, and trust.

What Canopy Is

Canopy is the creative intelligence layer for enterprise. It turns your brand — voice, characters, rules, references, past work — into a living model, then generates on-brand image, video, and copy from it. In the app, or anywhere via API and MCP.

Two problems at once. Fragmentation — references, prompts, stills, motion, and approvals scattered across disconnected tools. And amnesia — every AI generation starting from zero, knowing nothing about your brand. The focus is not generation speed. It is brand memory and production continuity.

All three live inside it, but the honest category is a creative intelligence layer. Generation matters, workflows matter — the larger promise is that everything stays connected inside one system that is grounded in your brand’s own world.

Marketers who need every channel on-brand. Agencies and studios managing many client worlds. Founders and in-house teams who need the output of a full creative team before their first design hire. And the agents all of them run, which call the same canonical brand via API and MCP.

Canvas and Workflows

Prompts produce moments; workflows produce campaigns. An isolated prompt can generate something interesting, but it forgets direction, context, and approvals the moment you move on. Connected workflows keep creative direction alive as the work branches and multiplies.

The canvas is the operating surface — modular, for text, image, and video. You place inputs, connect nodes, branch directions, and review outputs while the logic of the work stays legible from first reference to final delivery. Roots coordinates the crew on it.

Yes. A workflow can start with a brief and references, move into stills, and expand into motion — with one product world locked across every shot. The value is that those steps stay connected, instead of being stitched together after export.

Your Model and Your Context

Yes. Your brand world functions as your team’s own model — built from your voice, references, rules, and past work rather than the average of the internet. It serves your team alone. No other customer ever generates from it.

Only what you give it and what you make with it: decks, sites, Figma, social, past campaigns, and the projects you run inside Canopy. Every project sharpens it — it gets more like you, not more like everyone.

Yes. Each brand — and each team or branch within it — can hold its own world with its own voice, rules, and references. Agencies keep every client’s context fully separate. Nothing leaks between worlds.

Because the models are the commodity — your localised world is the part that’s yours. Context compounds: new teammates create on-brand from day one with no onboarding, agents inherit your taste, and clients stay because their world lives with you.

Use Cases and Output

This is the clearest reason the product exists. Recurring content only scales when the identity holds while deliverables multiply — campaigns, launches, editorial, product, fashion. One concept becomes hundreds of on-brand assets, and every project sharpens your model.

No. Canopy is the layer that remembers your brand and coordinates production — not a claim that every specialised tool disappears. Through API and MCP, the tools you keep can call your brand world too.

Usable deliverables: hero stills, motion pieces, social crops, carousels, resizes, and campaign-ready packages. The result should feel like one coherent system produced it — because one did.

Access, Pricing, and Product Direction

Canopy is in private alpha. Request a demo and we’ll set up your brand world together.

Limited access lets the product, trust layer, and brand-world tooling mature together — and teaches us which workflows matter most to real teams before we broaden availability.

Canopy uses a credit-based model: one subscription, one invoice, pooled credits for the whole team with no per-member caps, and 50+ leading models included. Public pricing details may evolve while the product is in alpha.

Privacy, Commercial Use, and Trust

As between you and Canopy, yes — you retain ownership of the content you create. Output rights can also depend on your inputs, applicable law, and the terms of the underlying model providers used in a workflow. The Terms of Service hold the formal version.

Yes. Canopy is built for serious commercial work — client deliverables, advertising, launches. Commercial use still depends on the current product terms and any restrictions from underlying model providers, so teams in regulated work should confirm before deployment.

No. We do not use your brand worlds, prompts, workflows, or outputs as training data for shared models. Your own model learns only for you, and you can request deletion at any time. To serve a request, content may be processed by third-party model providers under their own terms. Our Privacy Policy is the source of truth.

Normal client work, yes — your brand worlds and content are private within Canopy and never shared with other customers. For highly sensitive, regulated, or contract-restricted material, review our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and the applicable model-provider terms first.
